  42. I also am a strong supporter of not allowing any government body the power
  43. of censorship on the internet or in any public venue for that matter. Even
  44. though it now stands before the U.S. Government as a law, the internet is
  45. a world wide community. I think nobody can ingnore the ramifications that
  46. can occur if we allow any government to have control over the internet.
  47. If they are successful here then other governments could use it as a
  48. presedent to impliment it on their home soil. If the U.S. government is
  49. successful in their attempts to censor the internet than it will affect
  50. EVERYONE in the internet community.

  52. I Urge everyone to participate in this protest from any country! Let the
  53. U.S. Law makers know that the internet is not theirs to command!! Make them
  54. realize that the internet is what it is. A world wide community that will
  55. not allow any government intervention into it's affairs. In a sense we are
  56. a total embodiment of democracy, free speech and the exchange of cultures
  57. that deserves the protection of all it's members.
